This research helps us understand how to protect our coastlines from erosion and landslides caused by waves. By developing better methods to analyze the stability of coastal slopes, this work contributes to building safer and more resilient coastal communities and infrastructure. This directly supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting sustainable cities and taking action to combat the impacts of climate change, such as rising sea levels and stronger storms.
