FTGHSP 2022 is a 9-day field trip of courses with online and offline systems which invite international and Indonesian students to embark on this life-changing journey to gain a new perspective on their studies make new friends from all over the World. Moreover, immerse yourself in a different culture, and discover something new about yourself through multidisciplinary studies. An exclusive 9 (nine) days study program (2 ECTS credits) will offer a high-quality, and multidisciplinary course taught in English by professors and lecturers of many disciplines (Conservation and Climate Change, Art, Earth Sciences, Agriculture, Marine Science and Biology, Resource Sciences, Humanities, Anthropology, and Sociology) and by top practitioners from the scientist and companies around the world. The destinations are Unpad Campus Jatinangor, Cisolok Geyser, Ciletuh Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark, Bandung City, and Tangkubanparahu Stratovolcano.
Recently, Faculty of Geological Engineering UNPAD focuses on international partnerships with quality priorities for students and graduates with global competitiveness, which is in line with Faculty of geological engineering goal to always support Vision of UNPAD (2020 – 2024). After a successful previous Summer Program followed by 10 offline and 150 online participants from 9 countries, The International Office of Faculty of Geological Engineering will continue to organize 2022’s Summer Program.
The FTG Hybrid Summer Program 2022 has the theme “A Multidisciplinary Geoscience Approach to Cultural, Climate Change and Sustainable Development”.These theme is provide deep understanding of the diversity of natural resources management and indigenous cultural heritage, integrated on the management of renewable and non-renewable natural resources for sustainable development and climate change, and cultural psychiatry of learning perspectives from UNESCO Global Geopark (UGG) in a country.
Benefit for students in joining this event
- Participants who attend 70% of the program will attain 2 (two) credits with non-tuition fees
- International experience with lectures about cultural diversity, marine, mining and environmental conservation, local community, and heritage tourism development
- Certificate of participation or completion (micro-credential and participants)
- Multidisciplinary studies with hybrid learning systems and international networking with other international students
- Cheap of accommodation, meals, and transportation, including tickets for tourism sites during nine days (offline participants)
