Health Safety Environment (HSE) FTG Unpad conducted a safety induction for undergraduate students from the class of 2022 who will carry out geological mapping from 3 to 14 July 2024 (27/06/2024).
Geological mapping participants are expected to be aware of occupational safety, health, and the environment when conducting fieldwork. They should be able to identify hazards and know how to handle it in the field.
HSE has published the first edition of the Geological Mapping Field Safety Guidebook. The book aims to provide information about student safety and health when mapping. It contains rules, procedures, and methods to prevent accidents and protect students from dangers. It also covers the essential equipment to control risks and reduce the possibility of fieldwork accidents.
