Monitoring and evaluation activities, often referred to as “monev,” include the process of collecting data on program/activity implementation, reporting activities, and assessing performance achievements. The aim of monitoring and evaluation is to provide evidence and ensure accountability to the public for the use of the managed budget (principle of accountability), as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors for evaluation. This allows subsequent programs/activities to be more effective and efficient (principles of effectiveness and efficiency).
Several Monitoring and Evaluation activities have been carried out by the Quality Assurance Unit, including:
- Monitoring and Evaluation of the OBE Curriculum for the Postgraduate Study Program (S2 and S3) of the Faculty of Geological Engineering, Universitas Padjadjaran in 2022.
- OBE evaluation monitoring is conducted based on 6 standards, namely: Graduate Competency Standards (10 criteria); Learning Content Standards (Curriculum) (38 criteria); Learning Assessment Standards (8 criteria); Lecturer and Education Personnel Standards (1 criterion); Learning Facilities and Infrastructure Standards (6 criteria); and Learning Management Standards (3 criteria). The OBE monitoring and evaluation (monev) activity for the Postgraduate Study Program (S2 and S3) of FTG was held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 09:30 to 15:00 WIB. It was attended by the Acting Dean of FTG, the Head of Department, the Head of the Study Program, the Secretary of the Study Program, the Manager of Learning, Student Affairs, and Alumni, the Head of the Study Center, and the Quality Control Group.

Monitoring and evaluation of hybrid learning, Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MBKM) Program, Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum for Even Semester 2021/2022.
To ensure the implementation of the hybrid learning, MBKM, and OBE programs, the University has included monitoring and evaluation activities for these three programs in UPM’s IKU numbers 1, 5, and 6. Monitoring and evaluation activities are conducted to ensure that all programs run optimally and produce high-quality outcomes.
The monitoring and evaluation report on the implementation of hybrid learning, MBKM policies, and the OBE curriculum for the even semester of 2021/2022 was prepared as part of the quality culture implementation and the execution of UPM’s IKU.

Geological Engineering Doctoral Study Program Management Review Meeting
The management review meeting is an activity aimed at obtaining feedback and addressing non-conformities in the implementation of Tridharma practices to meet national higher education standards.
Based on the results of monitoring the learning process evaluation and the Internal Quality Audit, several inconsistencies were found in the implementation of Tridharma. The Management Review Meeting, attended by both external and internal parties, provided feedback and follow-up on these inconsistencies.
