Security and Safety Facilities

Faculty of Geological Engineering Unpad has security and safety facilities that support learning activities, lecture activities, and student activities. These facilities are usually maintained periodically to check and ensure their suitability for use.

The building map of the Faculty of Geological Engineering is on each floor near the stairs, containing information on the location of rooms on each floor, evacuation routes to assembly points, the location of fire extinguishers and fire alarms, and contains information on possible disasters that may occur and how to deal with them.

Fire extinguishers are located on each floor of the Faculty of Geological Engineering, checkup on these tools are carried out periodically which can be seen on each floor.

The assembly point is located in the Dean’s Building Area of ​​the Faculty of Geological Engineering. This assembly point area is in an open space, easily accessible, and is included in a safe zone from trees or buildings that may collapse and fall when a disaster occurs.

Evacuation routes are described in the building map, and for evacuation routes in case of emergency, each building is equipped with iron stairs and emergency doors which are used for mobilization, for example when an earthquake occurs.

The location of emergency doors for evacuation routes is available in each building and floor in the Faculty of Geological Engineering.

Smoke detectors are located on the roof of each room and in every area of ​​the Faculty of Geological Engineering building. The spread of smoke detectors will allows fires to be detected as early as possible.
