Three Geological Engineering undergraduate students representing Unpad, Fransiscus Xaverius Ardian Dewanto, Daffa Rafli Prinaldi, and Muhammad Helmi Fauzi, won third place in the Geodefest Paper National Competition 2024, which was held at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta on July 8, 2024.
The FTG Unpad team presented a paper entitled “Geochemical Characteristics of Rocks and Ni-Co Element Enrichment in Laterite Nickel Deposits, Region “X,” South Sulawesi Province: Efforts to Develop Critical Mineral Potential in Indonesia.”
This competition has been held seven times and started in 2018 at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. This year’s theme is “Challenges and Opportunities of Mining Industry.”
