This community service activity aims to raise awareness about the existence of fossils within the local community, with the long-term goal of initiating the creation of a mini-museum. This socialization was prompted by the discovery of a Megalodon tooth fossil in the village. Upon further investigation by the community service team, it was found that not only were there Megalodon tooth fossils, but also other fossils such as mollusk fossils and microfossils like foraminifera and pteropods. The socialization is intended to inform the community that if they find such fossils, they should be preserved and protected, so they can later be stored in the mini-museum, with the names of the finders also being honored. The highlight of this socialization activity is the presentation of a fossil poster, which documents the first fossil discovery and the research activities conducted by the students in the village.
