Yusuf Zaki Agung completed his Master of Geological Engineering Program (Double Degree) in November 2024. He conducted in-depth research on the potential of ion-sorption rare earth mineralization associated with weathered granite in the southern part of Bangka Island, Indonesia. His research revealed that rare earth elements are concentrated in areas dominated by kaolinite, indicating that ion-sorption mineralization can also be found in Indonesia. This significant finding was published in the journal Resource Geology.
