This study center is an element of academic support in the field of research and innovation at the faculty level. Creating a dynamic academic and research activities in the field of Environmental Geology and Engineering through regular scientific discussions and good network collaborations.

Current Research :
Study of water resources,
groundwater recharges and conservation, groundwater vulnerability, slope stability, rock acid drainage, mine dewatering, and geological engineering for mine design
Collaboration Research :
Multidisciplinary and scale study of groundwater resources of andesitic volcanoes, Mount Gede, West Java, Indonesia (collaboration between Universitas Padjadjaran, Sorbonne University France, and AQUA-Danone)
