FTG Unpad Implements Comprehensive Safety and Health Policy Including Smoke-Free Environment

The Faculty of Geological Engineering, Universitas Padjadjaran (FTG Unpad), has officially implemented a comprehensive safety and health policy that includes smoke-free regulations across its buildings and academic areas. This initiative is part of the faculty’s commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and conducive environment for academic activities.

The smoke-free component of the policy includes the publication of guidelines and informational posters prohibiting smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke within FTG premises, except in designated smoking zones. No-smoking posters have been strategically installed throughout FTG indoor facilities, clearly marking smoke-free areas and reinforcing the policy’s visibility. Additionally, the faculty has established dedicated smoking areas to accommodate smokers while maintaining the smoke-free status of academic and administrative spaces. The campaign emphasizes health awareness, environmental protection, and the importance of maintaining campus order and safety.

Through these integrated measures, FTG Unpad demonstrates its commitment to occupational health and safety (K3), environmental stewardship, and academic excellence, while fostering a healthier, safer, and more respectful academic community for all faculty members, staff, and students.
