The Faculty of Geological Engineering, Universitas Padjadjaran (FTG Unpad), has developed a spacious and well-organized parking facility featuring permeable paving block surfaces. This eco-friendly design not only ensures comfort and safety for vehicle users but also promotes natural groundwater recharge and effectively reduces surface runoff during heavy rainfall events.
The systematic layout of the parking facility is designed to enhance mobility convenience for the academic community while incorporating environmentally sustainable principles in campus infrastructure development. The permeable paving system allows rainwater to infiltrate naturally into the ground, contributing to local water cycle management and minimizing flood risks in the surrounding area.
