American Association of Petroleum Geologists Universitas Padjadjaran Student Chapter proudly presents our COURSE with the theme of “Source Rock Dynamic: From Kitchen to Trap”. Source Rock Dynamic: From Kitchen to Trap refers to a concept used in the oil and gas industry, particularly in petroleum exploration. It involves studying the processes and mechanisms that take place within the petroleum system, specifically focusing on the journey of hydrocarbons from their origin in source rocks to their accumulation in reservoirs or traps.
This approach aims to understand the geological factors and interactions that control the generation, migration, and entrapment of hydrocarbons within a basin or play. The course will be lectured by Mr. Miftah Mazied and Mr. Hendra Iriansyah Darmawan.
