FTG Unpad Promotes Environmental Responsibility Through Waste Management System

The Faculty of Geological Engineering, Universitas Padjadjaran (FTG Unpad), has implemented an organized waste management system across its campus facilities to support environmental sustainability and comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental (K3L) standards.

The system features color-coded bins for organic (green), inorganic (yellow), and residual (gray) waste, strategically placed for easy access by students, staff, and faculty. This initiative encourages proper waste sorting, fosters responsible disposal habits, and contributes to a cleaner and more orderly campus environment.

“By implementing this system, we aim to instill early waste management practices and enhance environmental awareness within our academic community,” said a faculty representative.

Through this program, FTG Unpad demonstrates its dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship while integrating practical eco-friendly practices into daily campus life.
